Public Access Computers

We have 58 public computers available throughout the library: 16 Adult computers, 16 Youth computers, 10 Lab computers, 10 Teen Gaming computers, 3 Teen Homework computers, and 3 Express computers.

Wi-Fi Network

The library provides free public access wireless Internet (Wi-Fi). This is an open, non-encrypted network. Our Wi-Fi SSID is: GlensidePLD.

In-House Laptops

Whether you need to research, work, or simply enjoy some digital time, you can borrow a laptop on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that these laptops are exclusively for use within the library.

Learn to use the most popular spreadsheet program in the world. Find your way around worksheets, enter and edit data, and more. Computer experience is required but no prior Excel experience is needed.

If you’ve just dipped your toes into the popular spreadsheet program, this will help you advance. Topics include: sorting and filtering data; creating simple calculations; and more. Some familiarity with the program (or completing our Getting Started with Excel class) is required.

Need to make effective presentations for class or business? Or even a simple slideshow for birthdays, etc.? PowerPoint is one of the oldest and most trusted presentation programs around. Learn to work with text, images, slide transitions, and more. Some computer experience is required.

Need to type letters, create documents, flyers and signs? MS Word is the most popular word processing program. Learn your way around creating and formatting documents, working with paragraphs and print layouts, and more. Some computer experience is required.
