Explore More Illinois Welcomes Young People’s Theatre of Chicago

Explore More Illinois, RAILS’ online cultural and recreational pass program for Illinois libraries, welcomes its newest attraction, Young People’s Theatre in Chicago!

In residence at Lincoln Park’s historic Greenhouse Theater Center, and led by experienced children’s theatre director, Randy White, YPT is a professional theatre that engages young audiences and families of all ages and economic backgrounds by offering extraordinary theatrical experiences. YPT is focused on partnering with community organizations, parents, educators, and local business leaders to provide thrilling and transformative theatre experiences for children from Lincoln Park and surrounding neighborhoods. These community partners will make it possible for local children of all ages – from toddlers to teenagers – to experience and participate in a wide range of transformative theatre experiences.

Young People’s Theatre of Chicago is offering discounted tickets ($20) to the Chicago Premiere of a New One-Act Adaptation of “The Diary of Anne Frank,” running February 16th-March 24th, 2024.  Explore More Illinois users can access and reserve passes from any of our attractions on their participating library’s website.
