Excitement and fun await those who journey to Glenside Library and participate in the summer reading program, Read, Renew, Repeat, from Sat, 06/01 to Wed, 07/31. During these next two months, your library will host a range of free activities for kids, teens, and adults to encourage and support a love of reading. Kona Ice Kickoff Event
Sat, 06/01 from 9:00 am–4:30 pm
Register at the library on the first day of the Read, Renew, Repeat Summer Reading Program and enjoy a free shaved ice from the Kona Ice truck.
Library Pool Party
Sun, 08/04 from 5:30-7:00 pm
Complete the Read, Renew, Repeat Summer Reading Program to be invited to our private pool party at the GH20 Aquatic Center.
Challenges
Each child will be given two reading goals. Mark on the calendar (provided at registration) any day that you read or attend a library program.
Complete your first goal to earn a pair of binoculars. Complete your second goal to earn a free book and pass to our private pool party.
Read or listen for ten hours. Earn a punch for each hour of any kind of reading. Choose from books, audiobooks and comics, to blogs, fanfiction and more!
Your first completed punch card earns a free book and pass to our private pool party. Enter all your completed punch cards into the Teen raffle bins of your choosing by July 31st.
Read or listen to 5 books*. Earn a punch by reading or listening to a book, reading ten children’s books with your child, or attending a library program.
Your first completed punch card earns a pass to our private pool party. Enter all your completed punch cards into the Adult raffle bin by July 31st for a chance to win prizes.
