DuPage ROSC Clothing Drive

Woman with outstretched arms stands by the ocean at sunset; DuPage ROSC logo and text are visible.

DuPage ROSC (Recovery Oriented System of Care) is requesting clothing items, especially men’s items, for their community outreach vans. These vans go throughout Kane and DuPage counties to provide clothing, hygiene products and harm reduction products for FREE. To contribute, please drop off new clothing in our lobby collection bin throughout September.

DuPage ROSC is a coordinated network of person-centered and community-based services and support. It builds on the strengths and resilience of individuals, families, and communities to achieve abstinence and improve health, wellness, and quality of life for those with or at risk of substance use and mental health challenges.

The overall goal is to develop an integrated recovery system for those seeking substance use and mental health treatment by involving the community to improve the availability of services. DuPage ROSC also seeks to destigmatize substance use and mental health challenges through this shared vision.

  • Promote a healthy and safe community by working together providing resources to improve the health, wellness, and recovery of individuals and families with or at risk of substance use and mental health challenges.
  • Develop a supportive recovery community that fosters growth, respect, and understanding of those indentifying with or at risk of substance use and mental health challenges.
  • Implement an effective peer-led ROSC council. Persons with Lived Experience (PLE) work to inform, educate, and empower individuals and communities. They identify gaps in the community, reduce stigmas, and provide prevention and early intervention. PLEs supply encompassing treatment and recovery services, recommend and implement policy and practice changes, mobilize community partnerships, and evaluate services for ongoing improvement.
