Glenside Library is proud to announce our new partnership with the DuPage County Health Department as part of the DuPage Narcan Program. Through this collaboration, we are now able to provide free, self-serve Narcan kits to our community during our regular library hours. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our patrons.

Narcan (naloxone HCl) is a nasal spray that can temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, providing critical time until emergency services arrive. Making Narcan accessible in community spaces like the library empowers bystanders to act quickly and effectively in critical situations. Increased access to Narcan has been shown to improve outcomes during opioid overdoses.
