  • Library Parking Lot Reserved for Library Patrons Only

    Due to congestion as well as concern for the safety of the children, District 16 picking up their children need to do so on the north side of Fullerton Avenue. The library parking lot is for individuals who are actively using the library.

    The following classes are offered as group sessions in our computer lab. Classes last about one hour. Space is limited so registration is required. Please contact Adult Services for available dates.

    Computer Basics

    Topics will include: how to navigate the Windows operating system, using the mouse and keyboarding basics.

    Effective Monday August 15th the Adult & Teen  Areas of the Library will have new Noise Level Zones.

    These bestsellers will be hitting the shelves this month.  Place your holds now!

  • National Milk Chocolate Day

    Yesterday was National Milk Chocolate Day but that doesn't mean Glenside's chocolate lovers can't continue to celebrate!  You can still indulge by checking out one of the many chocolate treats we have at the library.  Think of all the calories you are saving!

  • New Fiction Filing Scheme Effective 07/25/11

     

    Starting Monday, July 25, 2011:

    All Adult Fiction, Mystery, Science Fiction and Paperbacks will be shelved together alphabetically by the author’s last name.  This new organization scheme will make it easier to locate ALL of your favorite author’s titles in one place!

    More improvements to come in the upcoming months include:

    · Additional genre spine labels

    · Additional genre displays and bookmarks

    · Grab and Go paperbacks
