Dystopian Day 3: Truth by Julia Karr

Truth by Julia Karr

Truth by Julia Karr

This book is the sequel to XVI.  This review might give away things from the first book. Please stop reading if you don't want to be spoiled.

Nina and Sal are still together and coping with the aftermath of events from the first book. Nina has not told her sister that the man she though was her father is not, and her real father is still alive. Sal continues with his rebel activities which causes him to spend time away from Nina. This and his overprotective attitude put a strain on their relationship, and Nina starts developing feelings for another boy.

Nina became stronger in this book and ready to resist in her own right. I don't like love triangles, so I did not enjoy that part. Still, I want to read the rest of the saga.
