The Thursday of National Library Week is Support Teen Literature Day.
Here are some ways you can celebrate:
- Come to the Glenside Public Library and check out books from the Teen Area.
- Read a bibliography of book suggestions. Bibliographies are located in the "A" section of the Teen Area.
- Ask the Teen Librarian for a book suggestion.
- Peruse the Teen Reading page of this website for book reviews, book lists and trend alerts.
- Become a fan of the Glenside Public Library on FaceBook to keep up with the latest news about young adult books.
- Check out NoveList for read-alikes of your favorite young adult authors.
- Take your teen or yourself to an independent book store to buy a young adult book.
- Teens can come to Laughs & Snacks this afternoon to hear about humorous books. Adults can ask their teens who attended about the titles or come to the Teen Area to get a list of funny books.
- Look at the display of teen books in the lobby and perhaps check one out.
- Browse our graphic novel sections and look for the YA sticker on teen-friendly titles.
