National Library Week 2012

 “You Belong @ Your Library” especially during the week of April 9 – 14 to help us celebrate the materials, programs, and other services provided by the Glenside Public Library District.  

Monday, April 9:

       2-3:30 P.M.  Tours of the library’s 2nd level.

Tuesday, April 10:

      6:30 P.M.  Glenside Talent Showcase.  Enjoy performances put on by talented members of your community.

Wednesday, April 11: 

     6:30-7:15 P.M.  I Love My Library party.  For babies through children in 2nd Grade.  Children will create a book, enjoy activities, eat some treats, and more!

Thursday, April 12:  

       7:00 P.M.  Glenbard East’s Eastwind Vocal Ensemble

Friday, April 13:  

       3:30-4:30 P.M.   ”You Belong @ this Party”  A pizza party for 3rd-12th graders that have completed the National Library Week challenge.  For more information inquire at Youth Services. 

Saturday, April 14: 

      1 P.M.     Glenbard North’s Goldtones musical ensemble
      1-3 P.M.  Meet a member of the library board
      1-3 P.M   Enter a raffle and win a 3G Touch Kindle courtesy of the Friends of the Glenside Public Library District.

Don’t forget it is also Amnesty Week!  Bring in food donations to clear away your overdue fines.
