The Last Echo by Kimberly Derting
In the third book in the Body Finder series, Violet's power to sense the dead and discover the imprints of killing on murderers is put to use by the F.B.I. She joins a group of others with varying psychic abilities to investigate crimes. Her family and boyfriend Jay are concerned that she might be put into danger, and their concerns are validated when the Collector targets her as her next victim.
Hints of a possible future love triangle develop as Violet spends more time with team member Rafe. As he has his own psychic ability, he can understand her abilities better than her family and boyfriend. I am not a fan of triangles, so I appreciated that she did not stray from Jay and realized how much he means to her.
Not quite as good as the other books in the series, but I did enjoy meeting the new characters and learning about their abilities.
