Buried: A Goth Girl Mystery by Linda Joy Singleton
Thorn does not even try to fit in at her new school. Although she likes being different with her Goth look, she does not like her psychic abilities that set her apart from other teenagers. When Thorn touches an item, she gets visions that help her find things including the bones of a dead baby. Thorn cannot rest until she solves the mystery. Matters get more complicated when she encounters the Grin Reaper, a boy who hides behind a mask to exact revenge.
Thorn was an interesting character as she begins to accept her abilities. The supporting characters were well-written especially the Grin Reaper. The mystery was not as complex as I usually like, but the overall story was enjoyable.
